Job Description:
Platinum Group Security is looking to expand our team in the Johns Creek area! We are seeking experienced Unarmed Security Officers with exceptional customer service skills to join our team. These officers will be assigned to deterring suspicious activity, and, most importantly, reporting any unusual or criminal behavior while monitoring the entry and exit of vehicles from the property.
Job Brief:
We are looking for a dedicated, competent Security Officer to safeguard our premises and protect our staff, visitors, and assets. Your primary responsibilities will include detecting suspicious behavior, preventing vandalism, theft, and other criminal activities. You will maintain a high-visibility presence to deter illegal actions and ensure the safety of the property.
Your role will focus on detecting, deterring, observing, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Detect, deter, observe, and report any suspicious or criminal activity.
- Respond to alarms, incidents, and emergencies when necessary.
- Monitor surveillance equipment and emergency systems.
- Maintain a high visibility presence to deter any illegal or inappropriate actions.
- Provide excellent customer service and interact professionally with staff, residents, and visitors.
- Complete detailed incident reports and maintain accurate documentation when necessary.
Requirements:
- Valid Unarmed Security License.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally and courteously with others.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to operate security equipment and emergency systems.
- Strong knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols.
- Exceptional surveillance skills and attention to detail.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
Physical and Mental Requirements:
- Ability to see, hear, speak, and write clearly.
- Frequent sitting, standing, and walking, sometimes for long periods.
