What are the responsibilities and job description for the Retail Bank Security Officer position at Platinum Group Security?
Schedule: Monday & Wednesday (8:15am-5:15pm) and Thursday & Friday (8:15am-6:15pm)
Platinum Group Security is searching for experienced individuals for retail bank security officer positions. These officers will be responsible for the protection of the bank’s employees and all assets. Our security officers will need to stay alert to watch for potential threats to the safety of employees and customers. Our security officers will also need to investigate any suspicious behavior among the customers or employees to safeguard the financial assets of the branch. The officer is also required to have customer service skills, communication skills, critical thinking, and the ability to intervene and deescalate. The officer may work closely with other department heads and law enforcement authorities
Roles and Responsibilities:
Retail Bank Security Officer
- Comply with the standard operating procedures for the branch.
- Ensures physical safety of the bank.
- Writing comprehensive and detailed reports of unusual incidents.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner.
- Responding to alarms and investigating disturbances.
- Execute efficient de-escalation tactics to ensure customer and employee safety.
- Utilizing our Guard Tour Management software.
- Patrol premises of the location to ensure all entry points are secure.
Requirements:
- Have a Valid for of Government Identification.
- Have a valid Security D license.
- Possesses customer service skills.
- Possesses communication skills.
- Possesses comprehensive reading and writing skills.
- Possesses critical thinking skills.
- Surveillance skills and detail orientation.
- Integrity and professionalism.
- CPR/AED Training Preferred.
The physical and mental requirements of this job may include the following: seeing, hearing, speaking, and writing clearly. Frequent standing and walking, which may be required for long periods of time.
