We are seeking a reliable and professional Retail Bank Security Officer to join our team in West Palm Beach, Florida. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of customers, employees, and bank property. You will patrol the premises, monitor security systems, and respond to any incidents to maintain a secure and welcoming environment. Key Responsibilities:
Patrol the bank premises, including parking lots, lobbies, and exterior areas, to ensure a safe environment for customers and staff.
Monitor and respond to alarms, security cameras, and other security systems to detect and prevent unauthorized activity.
Greet and assist customers in a friendly, professional manner while maintaining a vigilant security presence.
Respond to emergency situations, such as robberies, disturbances, or medical emergencies, in a calm and efficient manner.
Write detailed incident reports and document security activities, including any unusual events or disturbances.
Ensure compliance with all bank policies and procedures, as well as state and federal security regulations.
Collaborate with local law enforcement if necessary for further investigation or assistance.
Assist with the training and guidance of new staff members related to safety and security protocols.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in security or law enforcement is preferred but not required.
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle emergencies effectively.
Basic computer skills for monitoring security systems and documenting reports.
Ability to stand or patrol for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds if necessary.
Valid security officer license (if required by the state of Florida).
Schedule:
Full-time
