Platinum Healthcare Staffing is recruiting a Phlebotomist. It’s a 570-bed acute-care hospital. The facility serves as the Level I Trauma Center for the South Bay area.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and collect blood samples from patients
- Process and handle specimens according to established protocols
- Provide excellent patient service and care during phlebotomy procedures
- Utilize medical terminology and knowledge of physiology in daily tasks
- Monitor and record vital signs accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the clinic setting
- Adhere to CPT coding guidelines for accurate billing and documentation
- Collaborate with clinical laboratory staff for efficient specimen processing
- Utilize laboratory procedures and techniques for specimen analysis
- Apply previous hospital and clinical laboratory experience to deliver high-quality services
Requirements:
- 1 year of Phlebotomist experience required (hospital setting preferred)
- CA CPT license
- BLS from AHA
- Can work Evenings (2:00pm-10:30pm)
