About Us :

Platinum Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine Inc. is a physical therapist owned company that provides one on one care without the use of aides or assistants to a wide variety of patients with orthopedic, neurological, and pelvic health concerns.

We are currently looking for a full-time physical therapist to join our outstanding team of PTs and OTs in our Norfolk location. Our Norfolk location is conveniently located on Route 115 near Annes market. This is a newer location for us and we are looking to build it to a 4 therapist clinic. We are a close-knit team dedicated to providing 1 : 1 patient care that goes beyond simply treating the body. We pride ourselves on creating a supportive, compassionate, and patient-centered environment that fosters healing and personal growth. We continue to succeed due to patient recommendations to their friends and family. Our team enjoys time together spent on continuing education reviews, monthly staff lunches, and community marketing events to help build up the caseload that they want to treat. Our focus at Platinum PT is for our employees to have a work-life harmony, so there is no double booking of appointments and an intuitive EMR to get through notes quickly!

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities :

Implement and carry out physical therapy plan of care in one-on-one 40 minute time slots for evaluations and treatments

Open 56 patient slots / week (37.5 treatment hours with lunch time allocated)

Manage ones own schedule through waitlists and communication with front desk

Engage with the local community at large through 1-2 local marketing events per year

Complete necessary documentation and chart review as needed within and outside of patient treatment hours

Participate in continuing education requirements of maintaining a professional license in the state of Massachusetts

Maintain a clean, organized clinic for patient care

Required Skills / Abilities :

Willingness to learn and lead by example

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Maintain a positive attitude with patients and staff

Use of computer for documentation and communication with patients and staff

Education and Experience :

Bachelors or graduate degree in Physical Therapy required

Active physical therapy license in good standing in the Commonwealth of MA

Experience in outpatient orthopedics physical therapy setting preferred

Physical Requirements :

Ability to perform physical demands of role of physical therapist including manual therapies, exercise demonstration, and guarding for safety

Computer use for documentation, email, and marketing

Lifting and carrying of marketing materials and clinic supplies
