As an Auto Glass Inspector, you'll be the face of our company, building relationships with customers and guiding them through the repair or replacement process. You will be responsible for inspecting vehicle glass, determining the extent of the damage, and recommending the best course of action. You'll also play a key role in scheduling installations and ensuring a smooth customer experience.
Responsibilities:
- Inspection and Assessment:
- Meet with vehicle owners at their preferred location (home, work, etc.)
- Conduct thorough inspections of automotive glass, including windshields, side windows, and rear windows.
- Identify and document various types of damage, such as chips, cracks, scratches, and pitting.
- Clearly explain the damage to the customer and answer any questions they may have.
- Take clear photographs of the damage with the customer present.
- Recommendation and Scheduling:
- Determine whether repair or replacement is necessary based on the type and severity of damage.
- Recommend the best course of action to the customer, explaining the benefits of each option.
- Schedule installations at the customer's convenience, coordinating with our technicians.
- Confirm insurance coverage and assist customers with any necessary paperwork.
- Customer Service:
- Provide outstanding customer service, ensuring a positive and stress-free experience.
- Build rapport with customers and address any concerns they may have.
- Follow up with customers after service to ensure their satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build rapport and trust with customers.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Knowledge of auto glass repair and replacement procedures (training provided).
- Comfortable using technology, including tablets and smartphones for documentation and scheduling.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
