Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pool Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and cleaning of residential swimming pools. This role requires a strong understanding of pool systems, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work independently while providing exceptional service to our clients.
Duties
- Perform regular pool maintenance, including cleaning, chemical balancing, and equipment checks.
- Conduct thorough pool cleaning using appropriate tools and techniques to ensure optimal water quality and cleanliness.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools for repairs and maintenance of pool equipment.
- Diagnose issues with pool systems and perform necessary repairs or replacements as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of service performed on each pool, including chemical readings and equipment status.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding maintenance schedules, service recommendations, and any issues encountered during service visits.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards while performing all tasks related to pool maintenance.
Experience
- Previous experience in pool maintenance or as a service technician is preferred but not required.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and repair various pool equipment.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools commonly used in pool maintenance is essential.
