What are the responsibilities and job description for the Retail Associate position at Platinum Prep Meals?
Position Summary:
The Retail Associate will be the face of Platinum Prep Meals during operating hours ensuring that client needs are being met while maintaining the cleanliness of the facility. This individual will be a highly motivated self-starter who is organized and passionate about health and wellness. With a team player attitude, we are looking for our next peer to bring energy and enthusiasm to new menu items while maintaining and building lasting relationships with our existing client base.
Position Description:
- Provide exemplary client service via phone or chat service through the Platinum Prep Website
- Up-sell clients and informing them of new meals or meals like their order that they have yet to try
- Share benefits of PPM rewards program including how to redeem rewards and signing up new members
- Ensure to provide additional benefits as to what makes PPM different amongst competitors. ie: selected high quality sourced ingredients, low sodium meals, variety of diets to accommodate including Keto, low carb, high protein, and high caloric intake requirements
- Supporting clients through ordering process either remotely or on-site in store
- Fulfill client orders based on priority
- Maintain an organized workstation to optimize efficiency
- Inventory management through a variety of vendors
- Responsible for communicating what is low in stock
- Prepare and restocking daily condiments including refilling or communicating with Head Chef with lack of stock.
- Restocking required materials to ensure the team is set up for success upon the next business day.
- Prepare external marketing materials required for each online order
- Contact clients to notify them that orders are ready to be picked up
- Communicate to clients at the end of the business day if their order remains when the next available pick-up time/date is
- Ensure Open sign is in compliance with business hours
Sanitation:
- Maintain cleanliness of the store including but not limited to:
- Sweeping
- Mopping
- Counter / Station Sanitation
- Register Counter
- Bathroom Maintenance
Schedule:
2 Shift - Sunday, Monday, Thursday, and Friday
- 1pm-7pm
Qualifications:
- Retail Experience
- Customer Service
- Sales Experience is a plus
- Digital Literacy
- ServSafe certification is a plus but not a requirement
- Kitchen experience is a plus but not a requirement

Compensation:
This is a part-time non-exempt position and is budgeted to be filled for $18-22/hr based on experience.
