Business Systems Analyst
Location; Newport Beach, CA (Hybrid)
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Requirements Analysis – Gather, analyze, and document business needs and translate them into technical specifications.
- System Design – Create workflows, processes, and data models; collaborate with engineers to build scalable solutions.
- Testing and QA – Work with QA team to develop test plans, identify bugs, and ensure systems meet performance and compliance standards.
- Implementation and Integration – Oversee system / project rollouts, upgrades, and ensure seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
- Documentation and Training – Prepare user manuals, technical guides, and provide training to end-users and IT teams.
- Maintenance and Support – Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform regular updates.
- Communication – Act as a bridge between business units and IT, simplifying technical details for non-technical stakeholders.
- Risk and Compliance – Identify risks, ensure system security, and maintain compliance with industry standards.
- Continuous Improvement – Evaluate systems and recommend enhancements to improve efficiency and performance.
- Projects (Analyst would support) :
Web Application rollouts - Web based applications hosted on Annuities / Life websites for Financial Professionals / Producers and Policy holders.
