JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to grow into a Controller or CFO position, making it ideal for ambitious professionals looking to advance their careers. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background, excellent analytical skills, and experience in manufacturing.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring compliance with GAAP.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes to ensure timely invoicing and collections.
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and perform variance analysis. Maintain a 12-week rolling forecast.
- Monitor and report on manufacturing costs, inventory, and other production-related financial metrics.
- Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in financial operations.
