What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commercial Roofing Project Manager position at Platinum Roofing LLC?
JOB SUMMARY
Field coordination of larger repair projects and re-roof projects. This will include scheduling with customer, helping to procure correct materials / equipment needed, and other items on a project-by-project basis. This will also require out of town travel from time to time.
Base Salary : $75,000 per year
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Project Management for re-roof projects. This will include scheduling with customers, helping to procure correct materials / equipment needed, and other items on a project-by-project basis. There will be some out-of-town travel involved from time to time, potentially up to 50% of time but typically less.
- Project Management which duties will include but not limited to, documentation of daily work tasks by crew on-site. Completing and distributing daily reports with quantities completed and reporting potential change order items and / or upcoming issues.
- Ordering materials / equipment as needed.
- Tracking job cost versus estimate to keep jobs in budget through our CRM, Salesforce.
- Communicating with on-site customers (manager, or other) to facilitate relationship with customer and push future work.
- Keeping crew abreast of weather conditions and communicating rain delays.
- Working with local material suppliers to protect the interests of Platinum Roofing with competitive material pricing and stocking the materials we use on a regular basis.
- As well as working on long term initiatives related to Platinum Roofing, LLC’s growth.
- Walking potential projects to help identify bid opportunities and scopes of work and collecting data for estimators when needed.
- Recruitment and development of current and future subcontract crews (direct reports) including but not limited to manufacturer sponsored training / NRCA modules and assessing current work force for future growth.
- Ability to work with different technologies and adapt to new technologies (Microsoft suite, Salesforce CRM, Outlook, etc.)
- Effectively communicate with crews and clients, adapting the level of professionalism required for each conversation.
- Strong time and budget management skills are essential for effectively planning and executing projects within deadlines and financial constraints.
- Ability to solve problems effectively.
- One (1) year of construction experience.
- OSHA 10 certification or more.
- Ability to speak and read English.
- Ability to perform basic math skills.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Must pass a drug screen upon job offer.
- Bi-Lingual
- Roofing industry experience
- Must pass a criminal background check.
- Must be a high-performing, innovative, values-driven, informed, and passionate individual.
- Individual works in a heated and cooled typical office environment.
- There will be times spent outdoors on the roof, exposed to the elements (heat, cold, rain, etc.)
- Must be willing and able to climb ladders more than forty feet as well as use ladders to get down from the roof.
