    JOB SUMMARY

    The Superintendent manages the on-site construction teams and oversees all work on site. also, will be responsible for orderliness on-site, schedule and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

    JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    1. Manage a team of workers, including work schedules, project progress, and resource allocation.

    2. Create cost estimates : for labor, supplies, materials, and other projects.

    3. Provides Project Oversight to ensure all project objectives, including scope, schedule, and budget, are met, or exceeded; monitors and assesses project progress regularly and provides timely updates per company policy; collaborates with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and objectives.

    4. Collaborate with clients, project managers, other construction management to determine budget and timeline.

    5. Create schedules for workers and subcontractors.

    6. Hires construction workers and subcontractors and assign work accordingly.

    7. Maintain a daily log for the job sites operations, reporting to management as needed.

    8. Make changes in the operation as necessary to best meet construction deadlines.

    9. Implement management techniques that are cost-effective and efficient.

    10. Assures quality control standards of the project; addresses any quality issues promptly and proactively; ensures project documentation is accurate and complete.

    11. Assists in the development and management of project budgets; ensures cost control and adherence to financial constraints, reviews and approves project expenses, change orders, and invoices; identifies cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.

    12. Monitors project progress against the project schedule and takes corrective actions, as necessary; mitigates potential delays through proactive planning and coordination.

    13. Responsible for risk management related to the project; identifies potential risks, for the project, and develops strategies to mitigate them; maintains a thorough understanding of contracts, insurance, and legal matters related to the project; ensures all safety and regulatory requirements are met.

    14. Responsible for creating and maintaining effective stakeholder relationships; fosters strong relationships with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, architects, and subcontractors by providing regular project updates and reports per company policy.

    15. Responsible for project documentation and reporting; maintains accurate project documentation, including reports, meeting minutes, and correspondence per company policy; prepares regular progress reports and presentations for the client and company management.

    16. Subject to call.

    17. Performs other essential duties as deemed necessary.

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

    • Knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and industry standard best practices.
    • Knowledge of supervisory principles and practice.
    • Knowledge of proper rules of grammar, spelling and punctuation and excellent writing skills.
    • Knowledge of relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
    • Knowledge of OSHA construction site regulations.
    • Ability to solve problems, promptly and efficiently.
    • Ability to implement innovative solutions while keeping a project on-track.
    • Ability to communicate effectively.
    • Ability to effectively negotiate.
    • Ability to organize, direct, and supervise the work of others.
    • Ability to coordinate work with and through others, within and outside of the organization.
    • Ability to communicate well, both orally and in writing, with employees, applicants, government officials, and individuals with varying backgrounds.
    • Ability to maintain professionalism.
    • Ability to utilize computer software programs, including Microsoft Office.
    • Ability to handle multiple projects under time and resource pressure.
    • Ability to analyze complex issues and problems, develop and implement corrective action.
    • Ability to effectively develop reports, letters, documents, and procedures.
    • Ability to make decisions.
    • Ability to obtain OSHA-10 certification.
    • Ability to enforce safety protocols.
    • Skilled in time and project management.
    • Skilled in organizing, directing, and supervising the work of others.
    • Skilled in construction project management.
    • MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    • High School Diploma or equivalent
    • Five years of experience in construction supervision over multiple crews.
    • Three years of experience successfully managing staff.
    • Proven track record of successfully managing construction projects of varying sizes and complexities.
    • SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS

    • Must pass a criminal background check.
    • Must be subject to travel and on-call status.
    • Must have a favorable motor vehicle record.
    • Must pass a drug test.
    • WORK CONDITIONS

      Individual works in a heated and cooled typical office environment and may be exposed to extreme weather conditions at job sites.
