The Ideal Candidate: We are specifically looking for a part time or full time stylist that will be employed, (commission based). Experienced with 2 years minimum is encouraged, but certainly not required if you are amazing and ready to work hard! We are a full service salon, experience in the following is preferred and super helpful but not required: Color and color correction, hair extensions, eyelash extensions, smoothing treatments, and special occasion hair and makeup applications. We want to build our business in the area of special occasions-and more specifically bridal work-so the latter experience will be helpful. Additionally, I am looking for talent that is a self starter and motivator, a desire for always advancing their techniques and ability to grow. Knowledge is power, and we provide an abundance of advance education here at Platinum! Duties and Responsibilities: Inclusive of being a team player, taking care of clientele in the most professional manner. Time management skills and self promoting attitude. We are not a walk in salon, although we do receive walk ins from time to time, we like to call ourselves a hidden gem in this beautiful city…self promotion and drive is important. Even if you are a seasoned stylist, this is an important skill and we are choosing carefully! So lets review: Requirements: If you want to walk in the door and start showing off your skills, you will need 2 years experience in the field, holding KY state Cosmetology license or higher.-Advanced knowledge on color and color correction-Advanced knowledge on all haircutting services-Advanced skills on special occasion hair and makeup applications are a bonus*

Knowledge of computers, using booking software and Quickbooks-Excellent communication skills-Problem solving ability -Detail Oriented
