Unarmed Flex Officer / Part-Time Security Officer

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Unarmed Flex Officers / Part-Time Security Officers to join our team. This role requires a proactive individual with strong observational skills, flexibility in scheduling, and the ability to respond effectively to various security situations. The ideal candidate will help maintain a secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors while adhering to company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols and monitor premises to prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorized activities.
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, providing necessary assistance, including first aid if required.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when needed and report any suspicious activities or security breaches.
• Utilize surveillance systems (CCTV) for monitoring and documenting incidents.
• Enforce company safety and security policies while implementing loss prevention strategies.
• De-escalate conflicts and handle situations professionally using conflict management skills.
• Maintain accurate and detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations.
• Provide excellent customer service to clients, employees, and visitors.
• Maintain flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Additional Requirements for Flex/PT Officers

• Must be available to work a minimum number of 2 shifts within a 30-day period to maintain PT/Flex status.
• Must be willing to work within a 25-mile radius of their home.
• Officers who decline a certain number of shifts within a set timeframe may become ineligible for the Flex/PT role.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security experience required.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Valid Guard Card (Required).
• CPR Certification (Required but can be obtained after hire).
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.
• Fluent in English (bilingual candidates preferred).

Pay: $17.25 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 24 per week

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Holidays
• On call
• Weekends as needed
