Sales Engineering Technician

Shift : 1st Shift, 7 : 00 AM to 3 : 30 PM, Monday to Friday
General Description :
The Sales Engineering Technician provides support to both the Engineering and Customer Service departments. This role involves interacting with both external customers and various internal teams, requiring strong communication and computer skills.
Gather technical information, specifications, and business requirements to respond to customer quotes and product inquiries.
Prepare customer presentations, designs, and quote responses.
Assist with pricing for Customer Service.
Help determine costs for manufactured parts.
Contact outside vendors for production support.
Record changes to production routing in the system.
Send samples and catalogs to customers.
Review customer prints to ensure they can be manufactured.
Assess customer specifications to ensure our ability to meet them, and document them in our system.
Maintain regular and consistent attendance.
Implement and utilize ISO procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Sales Engineering Manager.
Assist with the contract review process for purchase orders.
Participate in Sales and / or Customer Service activities as assigned.
Practice courteous, pleasant phone and email demeanor with customers.
Keep work area neat and orderly.
