Platinum Technologies is seeking a Senior Application Engineer to join our company.
This role requires an active Top Secret/SCI with the eligibility to obtain a CI/Poly. The position is in Fayetteville, North Carolina.
What you get to do.
•Designs and develops methods, processes, and systems to consolidate and analyze structured and unstructured data sources.
•Develops and uses advanced software programs, algorithms, querying, and automated processes to cleanse, integrate, and evaluate datasets and model complex business problems.
•Facilitates integrating cloud-based data solutions to promote scalability and enhance efficiency, optimizes data processing workflows, and resolves data-related issues.
•Integrates new project data sources with the current USSOCOM data classification and protection tools and platforms, support appropriate data tagging for data used in all projects and assists in implementing data loss prevention measures.
•Implement and monitor database security measures, ensuring compliance with DoD security standards, including encryption, access control, and audit trails.
•Monitor the performance of databases, identifying and resolving issues related to query efficiency, data integrity, and system responsiveness.
•Manage data migrations, upgrades, and patch installations for database systems, ensuring minimal disruption to operations and full functionality.
Required skills.
•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
•Minimum eight (8) years of relevant experience
•Active DoD Top Secret clearance with the eligibility to obtain and maintain a CI/Poly
•Expertise in designing, developing, and optimizing software systems and applications, with a focus on data consolidation and analysis.
•Experience in developing algorithms and automated processes for cleansing, integrating, and evaluating structured and unstructured datasets.
•Proven ability to integrate cloud-based data solutions and optimize data processing workflows for scalability and efficiency.
•Strong understanding of database security measures and compliance with DoD security standards, including encryption, access control, and audit trails.
•Experience in monitoring database performance, troubleshooting issues related to query efficiency, data integrity, and system responsiveness.
•Proficient in managing data migrations, upgrades, and patch installations for database systems, ensuring minimal operational disruptions.
•Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to tackle complex business problems.

Salary : $165,000 - $180,000
