What You Get To Do.
- Lead network survey, design and installations under direction of the government
- Conduct Site Surveys of customer premise networks in CONUS and OCONUS locations
- Create detailed Site Survey reports detailing a site’s current infrastructure, NIST and TEMPEST compliance, along with design recommendations
- Configure, install, test, certify, and troubleshoot network infrastructure cabling
- Ensure Network cabling infrastructure is compliant with current NIST and TEMPEST Standards
- Build and install equipment racks
- Install, dress, label, and terminate Cat6 and Fiber cable in telecommunications rooms
- Test and troubleshoot network infrastructure issues on SIPR and NIPR networks
- Create accurate reports and documentation to design/certify network infrastructure
- Track, manage, and ensure project tasks are completed in a timely manner
- Develop Bills of Material (BOM) for network plant design requirements
- Plan and perform preventive maintenance and scheduled upgrades (Life-cycle replacements)
- Investigate physical faults in the network
- Report network infrastructure deployment status to key stakeholders
- Have flexible working hours to be available to support off hour work, when needed
- Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of relevant experience; additional years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree
- Must hold an active TS/SCI
- Understanding of ANSI/TIA-568 and 569 standards
- Requirements of Protective Distribution Systems (PDS) for Classified Systems as directed by Security and/or the Certified Tempest Technical Authority (CTTA)
- Knowledge of National Security Telecommunication & Information Systems Security Instruction (NTISSI) 7003
- Knowledge of DISA network topologies and standards
- Topology and rack elevations using Visio
- Experience with various OTDR, cable testers, and network sniffers to develop reports for infrastructure certification documentation

Salary : $75,000 - $100,000
