You.

We are seeking an experienced IT Technical Writer to join our data services and artificial intelligence program team. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our documentation meets the highest standards of clarity, accuracy, and completeness. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, is comfortable in a client-facing role and has a strong background in technical writing, particularly in IT, data and artificial intelligence contexts, and will work closely with software engineers, artificial intelligence engineers, digital developers, data engineers, data analysts, solutions architects, and business/requirements analysts to create and maintain comprehensive documentation.

What You Get To Do.

• Create, edit, and maintain a variety of technical documents, including but not limited to system design documents, user manuals, security policies, procedures, standard operating procedures (SOPs), technical reports, and data and artificial intelligence compliance documents
• Work closely with software engineers, artificial intelligence engineers, digital developers, data engineers, data analysts, solutions architects, and business/requirements analysts to gather, analyze, and translate technical information into clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation
• Ensure all documentation is accurate, consistent, and adheres to organizational standards and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with team members to review and validate content, making necessary revisions
• Support the development and maintenance of documentation related to data and artificial intelligence policies, plans of action and milestones (POA&Ms), risk assessments, and vulnerability management. Ensure that documentation aligns with industry standards and regulatory requirements
• Document workflows, processes, and procedures, ensuring that they are easily understood by both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Assist in the development of training materials and guides
• Manage the version control process for documentation, ensuring that all updates and changes are properly tracked and documented
• Identify opportunities to improve documentation processes, tools, and templates. Implement best practices in technical writing and ensure that all documentation is up to date with current data and artificial intelligence standards and practices
  
  
  

Required Qualifications.

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, English or a related field
• Minimum three (3) years of experience in technical writing, with a focus on IT, data and artificial intelligence
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust
• Supporting up to 25% of reviewing and editing proposal and standardized corporate content
• Green Card holders – must have three years of residency in U.S
• Proven experience working in a collaborative environment with software engineers, artificial intelligence engineers, digital developers, data engineers, data analysts, solutions architects, and business/requirements analysts
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
• Ability to translate complex technical information into clear, concise documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences
• Proficiency in using documentation tools such as Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft Excel
• Proficiency utilizing and managing documentation management repositories such as SharePoint
