As a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP), your responsibilities include:
- Providing school-based evaluations and IEP-directed therapy services for students.
- Conducting comprehensive evaluations for initial eligibility or re-evaluations.
- Documenting therapy sessions accurately and in a timely manner.
- Developing and implementing IEPs and attending IEP meetings as a collaborative team member.
To excel as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP), you will need:
- Texas SLP License (required).
- Experience working in a school setting (preferred).
- Experience as a direct member of IEP teams.
- Proficiency in conducting assessments to determine appropriate therapy interventions.
