Responsibilities and Duties:
- Create a positive store experience by greeting them immediately, and by handling transactions professionally and enthusiastically
- Become familiar with brands, products, and prices
- Buy used clothing and accessories
- Tell customers about promotions
- Price and ticket items, restock store according to merchandising plan
- Maintain store displays and inventory levels
- Assist manager in scheduling and managing employees
- Lead team meetings
- Provide guidance and training to junior employees
- Be responsible for opening and closing the store
- Be confident in enforcing company policy
- Ability to execute company floor-sets
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Retail experience
- Leadership experience
- Flexible availability (weekdays, weeknights, weekends, holidays, etc)
- Relatively tech savvy
- Friendly and helpful attitude
- Drive to meet customer needs
- Perform duties with minimal direct supervision
- Learn quickly, embrace opportunities for new responsibilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to lift at least 30 pounds
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Easy adaptation to a new and fast-paced environment / quick-learner
- Ability to commute to offsite storage
