What are the responsibilities and job description for the BACK OF STORE POSITION position at Plato's Closet?
This position requires a minimum of one day on the weekend and two during the work week.
Our back of store position requires no experience as we prefer to train this team member on our specific processes. You must be willing to follow these processes which keep our back of store running efficient and smooth.
The basic responsibilities include the following tasks;
- Processing the product that we purchase from customers each day.
- Tagging, censoring and hanging every item.
- Preparing racks to move to the front of house or moving out of season product into backstock.
- You must be able to lift up to 60 lbs. Bending, stacking , rotating are an every day essential.
- Answering the phone and providing customers with important information on how to sell merchandise, store hours, and directing phone calls to appropriate staff members.
The right candidate must be physically strong, quick and efficient. You will be on your feet for your entire shift.
Someone that enjoys repetition will excel at this position. Self motivation is critical as you will frequently be working independently.
You must be able to work a minimum of 15 hours a week including a Saturday or Sunday. We are only hiring those that are able to work the entire month of May with no vacation.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
