Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our educational team from 12pm-6pm. The ideal candidate will foster a nurturing and stimulating environment that encourages the holistic development of young children. This role involves creating engaging lesson plans and implementing activities that promote social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth in preschool-aged children.
Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Manage classroom activities to ensure a safe and productive learning environment.
- Utilize effective behavior management techniques to support positive interactions among students.
- Assess and monitor children's progress in various developmental areas, providing feedback to parents as needed.
- Create an inclusive classroom atmosphere that accommodates children with diverse needs, including those requiring special education support.
- Incorporate physical education activities to promote health and wellness among students.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum development and share best practices in early childhood education.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom space that reflects the interests of the children.
Experience
- A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in private school settings is a plus.
- Familiarity with Montessori methods or other child-centered educational philosophies is desirable.
- Proven experience in classroom management and lesson planning tailored for preschool-aged children.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and special education practices is beneficial.
