Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic cleaner/Messenger to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food service environment by maintaining stockroom, stockpiles, and food/custodial materials in a neat and orderly fashion;. Performs periodic inventories of the existing stock; Inspects goods received. This position requires strong organizational skills, manual repetitive tasks as well as physical tasks including lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling heavy packages/boxes. Requires the ability to work in a fast-paced setting while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
Duties
- Deliver inventory and items promptly to various departments/buildings within the establishment, as directed
- Maintains stockroom, stockpiles and food/custodial materials in a neat and orderly fashion.
- Receives incoming stock, loads and unloads trucks and stack materials supplies, etc in appropriate storage areas.
- Carries out oral and written instructions.
- Assists in the cleaning, operation and maintenance of food stroage/ food prep area
- Uphold cleanliness standards in all areas of operation.
- Adhere to safety protocols and food handling regulations at all times.
Qualifications:
- Familiarity with food service operations and food handling practices is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
- Must be able to maintain a clean and professional appearance at all times.
