Responsibilities
- Develop and implement training programs for dogs, focusing on obedience, behavior modification, and socialization.
- Provide guidance and support to pet owners on effective training techniques and best practices for pet care.
- Conduct assessments of dogs' behavior to tailor training methods to individual needs.
- Maintain a safe and positive environment for both pets and their owners during training sessions.
- Collaborate with veterinary technicians or assistants to ensure the health and well-being of the animals during training.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in dog training, pet care, and animal behavior.
Requirements
- Proven experience in dog training or handling, with a strong understanding of animal behavior.
- Background in veterinary care (veterinary technician, veterinary assistant) is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of pet grooming techniques is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with pet owners and provide clear instructions.
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
