Camp Discovery at Montessori Children's House seeking enthusiastic and fun loving summer teachers/counselors.
Camp Discover at Montessori Children's House in Blue Bell offers campers a chance to have fun and discover in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. Our mission at Camp Discovery is to enrich the physical and social life of each camper in an environment consistent with Montessori principles. We will inspire, challenge and excite campers as they explore new adventures and develop lasting friendships.
This position would be full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:30-3:30 or 8:30-5:30/9:00-6:00 Camp Discover runs from June 20, 2022-August 24, 2022.
* Opportunity for ongoing employment for the school year is possible if interested.
Qualified Candidates will:
- Supervise indoor and outdoor play which includes water play (sprinklers), picnic lunch, playground fun, and special outdoor programs. ,
- Have the ability to be creative with the calendar of themes during the summer.
- Assist the children in exploring the Montessori environment, working with materials appropriate for their age and skill level.

Qualifications
Qualified Candidates for this position will meet the following requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Montessori certification not required for the summer, but knowledge of the “Montessori Way” preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience
