Responsibilities
- Provide individualized piano lessons to students of all ages and skill levels, including those with special needs.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to students' interests and learning styles.
- Utilize various teaching methods to ensure students' understanding and progress.
- Maintain a positive and supportive classroom environment, promoting students' self-esteem and confidence.
- Monitor students' progress and adjust teaching methods as needed.
- Prepare students for recitals, exams, competitions, and other performance opportunities.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistent curriculum and standards.
- Participate in school events and performances to promote the music program.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
- Engage in professional development to stay current with best practices in music education.
Requirements
- Proficiency in piano performance with a solid foundation in classical repertoire.
- A proven track record of experience working with students of all ages and backgrounds.
- Strong knowledge of music theory and piano pedagogy.
- Experience in classroom management, behavior management, and adult education preferred but not required.
- Ability to work with students with special needs and early childhood education.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create engaging and interactive lesson plans.
- Certification or licensure in music education or a related field a plus.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
