What are the responsibilities and job description for the Early Childhood Teacher / Floater position at Play Hard LLC?
Our Center is looking for a reliable and flexible Floater to join our team!
The scheduled shift will be between the hours of 7:30am and 5:30pm Monday thru Friday. However, the set schedule is subject to change to meet demand.
Applicant must be comfortable with covering all ages groups and helping out in all aspects across the Center. This position can often be quick paced and varies from day to day. Ideal applicant will be reliable, enthusiastic, patient, organized, friendly, and kind-hearted. Preference given to individuals with experience and/or a current CDA.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Engaging with children and communicating with parents
- Maintaining classroom order and cleanliness
- Assisting with basic meal prep
- Tracking students' attendance, diaper changes, naps, and meals
- Following DHS policies and procedures
- Maintaining a safe and secure environment for children
Applicant MUST have the following:
- Be able to cover initial $53 background check and pass with no provisions
- Current CPR, First Aid, and Food Handler's certifications are required
- Be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs and get up and down off the floor safely
Applicant is also required to maintain at least 20 hours of annual training. Some of this training will take place on the individual's personal time. Applicant must also keep all certifications current while working at Play Hard.
