Position Overview
As an Assistant Manager, you will play a critical role in the day-to-day operations of the store. You’ll work closely with the Store Manager to provide excellent customer service, manage staff, and drive sales.
Responsibilities
Customer Service: Deliver outstanding service by assisting customers in finding the right equipment and promoting a positive shopping experience.
Staff Management: Support hiring, training, and supervising staff to maintain high performance and morale.
Inventory Management: Help oversee inventory, including purchasing, stocking, and merchandising new and used products.
Sales: Drive sales goals by motivating the team and utilizing promotional strategies.
Operations: Assist with opening/closing procedures, scheduling, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
Problem Solving: Address customer concerns and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
Qualifications
-Retail management or leadership experience (preferred).
-Passion for sports and fitness equipment.
-Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
-Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
-Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
-Ability to lift and move heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs).
