Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sporting Goods Retail Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our brand, providing exceptional customer service and support to enhance the shopping experience. You will assist customers with their purchases, maintain store presentation and cleaning gently used sports equipment. A successful candidate will have back ground in multiple sports, sports equipment, strong communication skills and a flexible schedule.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide assistance as needed.
- Maintain knowledge of current sport equipment.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately for transactions and returns.
- Stock shelves and ensure merchandise is organized and displayed attractively.
- Fit customers with proper sports equipment and answer equipment related questions.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the store environment.
Experience
- Previous experience in sports and the use of sports equipment required.
- Strong communication skills are essential.
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus, along with basic knowledge of retail math.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
