We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pickleball Coach and DUPR Coordinator to join our team at Heritage Bay in Jensen Beach, FL. As a part of PLAY Academy, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the growth of pickleball within our community and beyond.
Job Summary:
The Pickleball Coach will be responsible for administering Pickleball lessons, clinics, and organizing events, with a primary focus on Dynamic Universal Pickleball Rating (DUPR) events. DUPR is a cutting-edge rating system for Pickleball players, and these events will serve as player funnels to boost private community memberships.
Key Responsibilities:
Pickleball Instruction: Provide high-quality pickleball lessons and clinics to players of all levels, from beginners to advanced.
Player Development: Offer personalized coaching and feedback to help players improve their skills and achieve their Pickleball goals.
Membership Promotion: Use events as a means to attract new members to the private community, thereby contributing to its growth.
Event Organization: Plan and execute level-specific Pickleball events, tournaments, and leagues to cater to various skill levels and interests.
Pay Structure: The position is a 1099 instructor role, with compensation consisting of a mix of hourly pay and a percentage-based system, depending on the specific task or event.
Qualifications:
Certified pickleball instructor with experience in coaching players of all levels.
Proficient knowledge of the DUPR rating system a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and event management abilities.
Passion for promoting and growing the sport of Pickleball.
