Job Description:
PLAY Academy is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Pickleball Professional to join our team at Lorraine Lakes. The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching, coaching, and growing a grassroots program that caters to players of all ages and skill levels.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, plan, and execute pickleball programs that cater to all age groups and skill levels. Provide private lessons, group lessons, clinics, and workshops. Develop and implement training programs for beginners, intermediate, and advanced players. Organize and manage pickleball events, leagues, and tournaments. Proactively engage with the community to promote pickleball and recruit new members. Provide and manage pickleball equipment, ensuring it is in good condition and available during lesson use. Stay updated on the latest coaching techniques, drills, and strategies to provide the best training experience.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a pickleball coach/instructor.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Passionate about teaching and coaching players of all ages and skill levels.
Ability to design and implement innovative training programs.
Knowledge of the rules and strategies of pickleball.
CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.
