Job Title: Youth Swim Instructor
Location: Timber Creek HOA, Fort Myers, FL.

At present, we are on the lookout for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Youth Swim Instructor to join our team and serve the Timber Creek HOA community in Fort Myers, FL.
Job Description: As a Youth Swim Instructor at the Timber Creek Community, you will spearhead swimming programs and provide individual, and group lessons tailored to children of various age groups and skill levels. This role is ideal for someone who has a deep passion for swimming, excellent communication skills, and a genuine ability to inspire young swimmers and instill in them a love and respect for the water.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct engaging group and individual swim lessons for children.
- Develop and implement comprehensive and age-appropriate swim lesson plans.
- Evaluate each child's swimming ability to provide appropriate feedback and adjustments to techniques.
- Maintain and manage swimming equipment and ensure the cleanliness and safety of the pool area.
- Foster a fun, safe, and supportive environment for learning swimming skills.
- Actively engage with the community and parents to promote the importance of swim education and water safety.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in swim instruction, with a strong understanding of swim techniques and safety practices.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, encouraging demeanor.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit different age groups and skill levels.
- Strong organizational skills for managing class schedules and maintaining equipment.
- Certification in swim instruction, lifesaving, and CPR/First Aid.
- Flexibility in scheduling, with the ability to offer lessons on weekends or as needed by the community.
Compensation:
