We are dedicated to creating an environment that promotes a balanced and healthy lifestyle. Currently, we are in search of an experienced, self-motivated Tennis Instructor to join our team in the Southwood HOA Community in Tallahassee , FL. PLAY Academy hires local coaches only. Must currently live in the area to be considered and be professionally certified.

Job Description: As a Tennis Instructor, you will be responsible for leading group classes and private lessons for a diverse range of ages and skill levels. This role is ideal for someone with a deep passion for tennis, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to inspire and encourage players to improve their game.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct both group and individual tennis coaching sessions.
• Develop and implement lesson plans appropriate for players of all skill levels.
• Provide constructive feedback and encouragement to players.
• Manage equipment and facilities, ensuring their proper use and maintenance.
• Ensure a safe, positive, and productive environment for all players.
• Engage with the community and promote the sport of tennis.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a tennis instructor.
• Strong understanding of the rules, strategies, and techniques of tennis.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate players of all skill levels.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends.

Compensation:

• Competitive hourly rate for group classes.
• Percentage of fees for private lessons.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $25.00 - $70.00 per hour

Experience:

• Tennis Instructor: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

• USPTA Certification (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

• Tallahassee, FL 32311: Relocate before starting work (Required)
