Play On Philly (POP) is a leading non-profit organization providing after-school music instruction to over 300 K-12 students in communities that have little or no access to formal music education. We are seeking an organized, motivated, compassionate individual to join our team as the Program Manager. The person in this role will have strong people management and project management skills, working with multiple constituencies and optimizing workflows with the team.
Position Summary
The Program Manager oversees day-to-day and year-to-year operations of all student and family-related activities, managing the on-site Program Coordinators and program logistics. Externally, the position ensures positive student and family experiences and navigates program partnerships with diplomacy and collegiality. The Program Manager is the team's project manager, keeps initiatives moving forward, and often leads time-bound projects. The individual in this role sits at the intersection of the Operations, Program and Development teams, often bringing the perspective of the lower-level staff members into decision making processes.
Major Responsibilities
- Supervise and coach Program Coordinators to implement successful programming at all Music Centers and during Summer Program.
- Co-Lead Program Team meetings to ensure projects and initiatives are on time, executed successfully, and debrief upon completion.
- Plan, execute, and produce cross-site concerts and events.
- Maintain professional and collaborative relationships with school partners.
- Manage Program Department's annual budget creation process and monitor Program staff's record-keeping on an ongoing basis.

Salary & Benefits
This position offers an annual salary between $60 - $65,000 (based on experience).
