Play2Grow Pediatric Therapy specializes in providing pediatric occupational therapy services to children of all ages. Occupational therapists (OTR/L) and certified occupational therapy assistants (COTA) help pediatric clients and their families by identifying delays or challenges that are affecting a child’s overall development and inhibiting participation in everyday childhood activities. POSITION SUMMARY
The certified and licensed occupational therapy assistant (COTA) will assist in the practice of occupational therapy services under the appropriate supervision of a licensed occupational therapist (OTR/L). The certified occupational therapy assistant is responsible for supplementing, enhancing, extending, and supporting occupational therapy services.
EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS
Required Education: Associate of Applied Science degree in Occupational Therapy from an ACOTE accredited academic program
Required Certification & Licensure: Current National Certification from NBCOT
Current CA license in “good standing” with CBOT
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Availability: Monday – Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Hours: Full-Time, 32 hours (minimum) – 40 hours per week (maximum)
Pediatric experience is preferred but new grads with a passion for working with children are welcome to apply!
