WHO YOU ARE
You’re a positive and enthusiastic people-person, who may just so happen to have a passion for travel, fruit, superfoods, and all things healthy! As a New Store Opening Manager, you will be doing a variety of tasks from training new employees to strategically resolving problems. You will be responsible for supporting new and existing franchisees/licensees in all aspects of business planning, driving operational excellence and the guest experience. WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Serve as Playa Bowls Brand Ambassador to protect and uphold our coveted brand standards
- Conduct pre-opening operations ck-list and food safety assessment approving the shop opening
- Coach, support and guide the franchisee & their team through opening & post opening providing constructive feedback ensuring they are set up for success executing the Playa Bowls Way
- Facilitate and support pre-shop opening set-up ensuring everything is set-up & merchandised per Playa Bowls brand standards and planograms including & not limited to:
- Proper equipment and small wares placement, functionality & troubleshooting
- Proper front of house, front line station, back of house and management office set-up
- Inventory Management: Schedule and receive product & dry goods deliveries ensuring proper product quality, quantity and storage requirements are met
- Lead & facilitate pre-shop opening crew training for shop one and train the trainer for shop two
- Observe, coach and support pre-open, open and post open team execution:
- Labor Management: Review the pre-opening, opening & post opening schedule sharing team service aces in their place’s recommendations & best practices
- Product Quality: Monitor food preparation, portion measurement & weights, garnishing, packaging and overall presentation ensuring all product recipes and builds are followed
- Guest Service: Ensure SURF to service is being executed consistently
- Service guests utilizing the point of sale, preparing products and jumping in where needed serving as a role model
- Support the franchisee & manager with vendor issues & guest complaint resolution
- Perform key resource, system & vendor knowledge checks to confirm understanding; POS, Tap Mango, Chatmeter, GroupMe, Sysco etc.
- Support vendor issue resolution

WORK CONDITIONS
- Travel required (2-3 weeks per month), as needed or required for restaurant visitation, scheduled meetings, or company functions
- Must be available to work weekends
- Must be 21 years of age to comply with state age travel requirements
ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position for prolonged periods of time
- Must be able to lift or otherwise move 25-40 pounds occasionally
- Must be able to retrieve items from high and low shelving, the fridge/freezer, and under counters.
