Position Overview: We’re looking for passionate and responsible Part-Time Pet Sitters to join our growing team. If you love animals, have a positive attitude, and are looking for a flexible schedule, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

As a pet sitter with Playa de Perros, you will provide personalized care to pets in their homes. This includes walking, feeding, playtime, enrichment activities, and offering companionship to pets in a familiar environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide top-notch pet care for dogs, cats, and other animals, including walking, feeding, and enrichment activities.
• Ensure all care instructions are followed accurately to build trust with pet parents.
• Communicate effectively with pet parents through regular updates, photos, and reports via our app, Time to Pet.
• Adhere to all company guidelines for professionalism, including detailed time tracking, logging, and reporting of visits.
• Provide overnight stays, ensuring pets are comfortable and attended to.
• Participate in a time-blocked schedule for more efficient and predictable shifts.

Requirements:

• A genuine passion for animal care and well-being.
• Comfortable handling pets of all sizes and temperaments.
• Basic tech-savvy, as you’ll be using Time to Pet for scheduling, reporting, and updating pet parents.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining professionalism.
• Completion of an online certified pet sitting and CPR course within the first three months of employment. (provided by employer)
• Reliability and punctuality are essential.
• Must have a car.
• Must have a smart phone.

Physical Demands:

• Activity Level: Medium. You’ll be walking pets for extended periods of time (up to 60 minutes at a time, with an average of 30 minutes per walk).
• Must be able to handle leashes and manage dogs of all sizes during walks and other care activities.
