JOB DESCRIPTION:

Playabilities is seeking a Marketing and Community Outreach Manager to lead strategic initiatives focused on client acquisition, retention, and referral relationships. This role is responsible for ensuring a seamless and effective approach to client growth by overseeing referral partnerships, managing multiple outreach channels, maintaining marketing materials, and leveraging data-driven strategies to expand Playabilities’ impact. 

Reporting to the VP of Operations, this role will work closely with clinical and administrative teams to strengthen community relationships with an array of audiences and ensure Playabilities remains positioned as the premier provider of outpatient pediatric therapy. Additionally, this role will partner with a third-party marketing agency to execute digital media ad placements, search engine marketing, and social media strategies to achieve our strategic marketing goals. 

This position will target various key audiences with business-to-business strategies, business-to-consumer strategies, and assist our recruiting department in execution of digital campaigns related to attracting talented clinicians to join our growing team. 

The Marketing and Community Outreach Manager will be responsible for meeting key referral metrics and will also maintain SEO strategies to ensure our domain authority continues to increase online. 

 

Client Growth & Referral Development 

  • Oversee execution of Playabilities’ competitive marketing and positioning strategy to ensure key metrics for growth are attained. 
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing referral sources, including pediatricians, preschools, hospitals, and community organizations. 
  • Develop new referral partnerships to expand Playabilities' reach and increase client access to services. 
  • Serve as the primary liaison for referral partners, ensuring consistent communication and engagement. 

 

Community Engagement & Outreach 

  • Represent Playabilities at local events and community gatherings with the purpose of introducing potential clients to Playabilities services. 
  • Develop and execute initiatives that enhance Playabilities’ presence and reputation in the community. 
  • Work with internal teams to create and deliver educational materials, workshops, and presentations for community partners. 
  • Support efforts to increase awareness of Playabilities’ services among families, healthcare providers, and educators. 

 

Client Acquisition Strategy 

  • Track and analyze client growth trends, referral patterns, and conversion rates to improve engagement strategies. 
  • Develop and maintain a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to monitor referral sources, outreach efforts, and client acquisition metrics. 
  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to identify opportunities for improving the awareness of our service offerings. 
  • Partner with our third-party marketing agency to execute digital media ad placements, search engine marketing, and social media strategies aligned with our business objectives. 

 

Strategic Growth Initiatives 

  • Identify and implement initiatives aimed at expanding Playabilities’ client base. 
  • Partner with our strategic marketing vendor to oversee execution of omnichannel marketing programs targeting key audiences. 
  • Work closely with leadership to explore marketing efforts needed related to market expansion, partnerships, and service line enhancements. 
  • Develop and execute growth strategies that align with Playabilities' mission and long-term objectives. 
  • Lead special projects related to client experience, branding, and community partnerships. 

 

Collaboration & Communication 

  • Partner with the clinical and administrative teams to ensure client engagement efforts align with Playabilities’ services and goals. 
  • Provide training and support to staff on referral relationship management and potential client communication best practices. 
  • Maintain open communication with leadership regarding client growth trends, challenges, and opportunities. 
  • Report on KPIs related to metrics for client acquisition, brand awareness, and conversions. 

 

Brand Standards 

  • Assist in establishing and maintaining brand standards and guidelines. 
  • Ensure all marketing materials are consistent with the company’s brand identity. 
  • Create brand-compliant visuals and content that align with our digital marketing initiatives in partnership with our third-party marketing agency.
