What are the responsibilities and job description for the Speech-Language Pathologist-PRN position at Playabilities For Sensational Kids, LLC?
The PRN Speech Therapist would be responsible for providing coverage and support when the primary therapists are unavailable due to various reasons, ensuring continuity of care and maintaining service levels. No two children are the same and therapists will need to use their expertise and creativity to connect with their clients, implementing a variety of approaches to find the “just right” therapeutic fit for your clients. Our therapy style is primarily play-based in a one-on-one setting however, therapists doing activities together is not uncommon.
Expectations
Therapists will need to be a quick learner and capable of juggling multiple tasks and responsibilities at one time while providing high-touch service to clients, families, and caregivers.
Availability
This position is based on flexible, unscheduled availability rather than predetermined hours. The ideal candidate will need to be available up to five days a week as needed, but this does not guarantee scheduled time each day. Assignments may include covering short-term leaves of absence, fixed-length assignments, or specific days when a full- or part-time therapist is unavailable to see their caseload at the clinic.
