Dishwasher

Playalinda Brewing Company in Titusville, FL is looking for one part time dishwasher to join our team. We are located on 5220 S. Washington Ave. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, motivated, engaged, and reliable.

Job Summary

Clean dishes, kitchen, food preparation equipment, or utensils. Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans, using dishwashers or by hand. Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in clean and orderly condition.

Essential Functions

*Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in clean and orderly condition *Clean food preparation areas, facilities, or equipment. *Place clean dishes, utensils, or cooking equipment in storage areas. *Store supplies or goods in kitchens or storage areas. *Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas. *Clean garbage cans with water or steam. *Sweep or scrub floors. *Clean food preparation areas, facilities, or equipment. *Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in clean and orderly condition. *Stock supplies, such as food or utensils, in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, or salad bars. *Store supplies or goods in kitchens or storage areas. *Load or unload trucks that deliver or pick up food or supplies. *Receive and store supplies. *Clean food preparation areas, facilities, or equipment *Assist kitchen staff with preparing ingredients *Perform basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by supervisor

Required Skills

*Understanding of health and safety rules in a restaurant *Dexterity in using kitchen equipment or utensils and carry heavy trays *Outstanding coordination and multi-tasking abilities *A customer-oriented approach *Great physical endurance

Additional Requirements

*Willing to work nights, holidays, and weekends *Works well as part of a team and on individual tasks *Works well and efficiently under pressure *Good interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of staff and management *Food handling certification may be required according to legal regulations

Physical Requirements

*Ability to work in a standing position for extended periods of time. *Ability to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift/move up to 165 pounds *Ability to work in an environment where you will be exposed to heat, cold, steam, etc. *Frequently washing own hands and manual dexterity

Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts on Sundays and Saturdays. Compensation is $15.00 - $16.00/hour.
