Responsibilities
- Monitor the entrance and exit points of the venue to ensure compliance with age restrictions and entry policies.
- Conduct thorough checks of bags and personal items as needed to prevent prohibited items from entering the premises.
- Manage crowd behavior by addressing any conflicts or disturbances swiftly and professionally.
- Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary to handle serious situations effectively.
- Maintain clear communication with other staff members regarding any security concerns or incidents that arise during shifts.
- Uphold a professional demeanor at all times, representing the venue positively while enforcing rules fairly.
Requirements
- Previous experience in law enforcement, loss prevention, or security is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong observational skills with the ability to assess situations quickly and accurately.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patrons and team members.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle difficult situations with professionalism.
- A background in military service is a plus but not required.
