Playbook is a leading sports management software platform. As part of our product offering, we facilitate events at professional and collegiate stadiums across the country, during which youth sports teams from the local region will have the chance to play a game where their heroes play!
Role Description:
We are looking for a temporary event manager to help run our youth athletic event at the Superdome | New Orleans, LA on Sun, Sept. 15 . This job will run from 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM for both days and compensates at $20/hour for the day. You'll be expected to arrive at the arena to get oriented at 8:00 AM. This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to working in the sports world, and get on-field/ice/court at your favorite venue! While this is a temporary opportunity, we often return to these venues multiple times every year, and love to work with individuals we've worked with previously.
In this position you will work:
- Spectator/player Check-in
- On-field assistance coordinating teams and keeping to schedule
Requirements:
- Demonstrated event management experience
- Sporting event experience preferred
- High-stress tolerance
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Good with children
- An interest in gaining exposure to the sports world
Compensation:
- $20/hour worked
