What are the responsibilities and job description for the Temporary Sporting Event Manager position at Playbook Sports?
We are looking for a Temporary Event Manager to help facilitate and oversee our youth athletic events. This event will be held at Chaifetz Arena on January 11, 2025 (Saturday) from 9:00 am - 7:15 pm and January 12, 2025 (Sunday) from 9:00am - 7:30pm. Playbook Sports prides itself on inclusion, diversity, and equity. This is a huge and an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to the world of sports!
In this position you will work on:
- Spectator/player Check-in
- On field assistance coordinating teams and keeping to schedule
Requirements:
- Sporting event experience preferred
- High-stress tolerance
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Good with children
- Must have a working laptop
