What are the responsibilities and job description for the Temporary Sporting Event Manager position at Playbook Sports?
We are looking for a temporary event manager to help run our youth athletic event at Golden 1 Center (Courts) | Sacramento on Jan 12 (Sunday) and June 13 (Monday). This job will run from 8:30 am to 9:00 pm ( Sunday) and 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm (Monday) and compensates at $20/hr for the day. You'll be expected to arrive at the arena to get oriented one hour before the event. This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to the sports world.
In this position you will work:
- Spectator/player Check-in
- On court assistance coordinating teams and keeping to schedule
Requirements:
- Sporting event experience preferred
- High-stress tolerance
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Good with children
