What are the responsibilities and job description for the Temporary Sporting Event Manager position at Playbook Sports?
We are looking for a Temporary Event Manager to help run our youth athletic event at Paycom Center, Oklahoma on Feb. 28 & Mar 1 (Friday & Saturday). This job will run from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm ( Friday) & 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM ( Saturday) and compensates at $20/hour. You'll be expected to arrive at the arena to get oriented one hour before the event. This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to the sports world.
In this position you will work:
- Spectator/player Check-in
- On court assistance coordinating teams and keeping to schedule
Requirements:
- Sporting event experience preferred
- High-stress tolerance
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good with children
