What are the responsibilities and job description for the Temporary Sporting Event Manager position at Playbook Sports?
We are looking for a temporary event manager to help run our youth athletic event at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium| Gainesville, FL on Apr 19 ( Sat ). This job will run from 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM and compensates at $20/hour for the day. You'll be expected to arrive at the arena to get oriented at 8:00 AM. This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to the sports world.
In this position you will work:
- Spectator/player Check-in
- On-field assistance coordinating teams and keeping to schedule
Requirements:
- Sporting event experience preferred
- High-stress tolerance
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good with children
