What are the responsibilities and job description for the Temporary Sports Event Manager position at Playbook Sports?
We are looking for a Temporary Event Manager to help run our youth athletic event at UBS Arena, Elmont, NY on Mar. 2 [ Sunday ]. This job will run from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM and compensates at $20/hour. You'll be expected to arrive at the arena to get oriented at 9:00 AM. This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to the sports world.
In this position you will work:
- Spectator/player Check-in
- On-court assistance coordinating teams and keeping to schedule
Requirements:
- Sporting event experience preferred
- High-stress tolerance
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Good with children
