Playbook is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our engineering teams in building tools and technology, and empowering the next generation of creators.

This role is first and foremost a people management and talent development role. Your primary responsibilities will revolve around making sure Playbook’s engineering crew is firing on all cylinders—the right people are in the right seats, they have the information they need to do their jobs well, they are motivated to do their best work and that the whole Product Development teams collective output is something to be proud of.
This role will be the direct people manager of all Individual Contributor engineers of the company. We work in a crossfunctional pod-model, so all engineers will be in a team with a Product Manager responsible for prioritizing the team’s work and a Tech Lead responsible for the day-to-day technical decisions and leadership.
