Locally founded and run nonprofit organization seeking energetic individuals who enjoy working with children with special needs! This position involves implementing the science of ABA to teach social, self-help, academic, and living skills. You will support patients with participating in a variety of fun activities as well as practicing vocational, daily living, and social skills. Entry level and Team Leader positions available! Those with experience in group home settings, working with individuals with special needs, and day programs are eligible for hire at increased pay rates and advanced positions. Salary starts at $17.00 / hr and increases with experience; Lots of room for advancement! NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY and PAID TRAINING TO RECEIVE NATIONAL CERTIFICATION FOR REGISTERED BEHAVIOR TECHNICIAN AND CRISIS MANAGEMENT!

Responsibilities
Engaging in play
As an ABA therapist, you'll provide behavior support to improve the lives of individuals living with various special needs. Your daily responsibilities will include collecting data and working with a multidisciplinary team. You will work with patients one-on-one and in groups. You will learn to incorporate behavior treatment into every aspect of the patient's life. Communicating with teachers, parents, family members and other caregivers is an essential component of providing effective treatment.
