Functioning as a member of the Giving and Growth Team TPA’s Director, Club Relations is responsible for forming, managing and maintaining connections with the 30 clubs within MLB with the purpose of supporting TPA’s needs for communication, connection, programming and reach . The director’s duties include meeting regularly with club leadership and staff both virtually and in-person to discuss new programming, opportunities for partnering, bridgebuilding, resolving any fundraising issues with payroll-based fundraising and preserving and
maximizing the TPA / MLB relationship
Duties and Responsibilities
The Director of Club Relations will build and maintain relationships with club leadership and staff. The hired leader will serve as point in the introduction and education on all TPA programming launches and grant portfolio. They will provide each club with personalized feedback, building rapport via responsiveness to inquiries and a collegial stance in all matters. The Director of Club Relations will collect and analyze feedback to quickly identify trends and concerns needed to be addressed by TPA leadership and processes impacting successful collaboration with MLB Clubs. The Director will actively search for opportunities for collaborative work in community with club staff and local partners. The best applicants will have extensive experience in donor / customer relations, sales or other customer-facing roles. Duties will include but not be limited to :
